Since 1996, Quality Coatings Inc. has been providing custom industrial coating services. Founder Dean Drayna has many years of experience in the coating industry. Starting out as a ‘one-man shop’ in a several hundred square foot building, Drayna convinced one of the world’s largest expandable foam forms producers to have all their USA molds Teflon© coated at QCI. Word of great service and quality quickly spread to other manufacturers and users of molds.
In 2002, Drayna purchased the building at QCI’s current site. Powder painting, metal plasma spray, and automated parts processing were added. In 2004, an expansion of QCI’s building and office space was completed.
QCI’s success and reputation caught the attention of the largest industrial parts coater in Europe – Adelhelm Gmbh. Adelhelm Gmbh President Thomas Adelhelm and QCI President Dean Drayna quickly formed a friendship which led to a business partnership in 2005 called Adelhelm LubriCoat NA. The new company, which operates out of the same facility as QCI, has led to additional automated processing machinery.
